Uniform

Pimlico Academy promotes excellence and aspiration in everything its students do. Our uniform is designed to reinforce this spirit of excellence, encouraging students to take pride in belonging to the Pimlico Academy community.

All students at Pimlico Academy must wear the Academy uniform. This reflects our values as a school and reinforces the school’s culture of high expectations. Our uniform helps to promote a strong and cohesive school identity which helps us to support high standards in all areas of school life.

Pimlico Academy uniform must be smartly worn at all times by students throughout the school day and on the way to and from the Academy. For further information, please review our Uniform Policy. Students arriving on-site without the correct uniform will be loaned uniform for the day. More details can be found in our Behaviour Policy.

  • Plain black/navy socks or tights

  • Black flat leather-fronted logo-free shoes

  In-Year Starters/Replacement Uniform

The necessary branded items are as follows:
  • Academy Bag
  • Academy Blazer

  • Academy Tie

  • Academy PE kit 

All other items can be purchased from a wide range of retailers. If you have any questions about uniform, please do contact your child’s Head of Year. Reasonable adjustments will be made for students with religious needs or disabilities.

PE Kit

Compulsory items: 
  1. White polo shirt with the Future Academies logo (plain T-shirts are not permitted). 
  2. Plain navy PE shorts without logos/patterns or navy tracksuit bottoms with no logos or patterns. Shorts must not be tightly fitted. 

  3. Socks must be plain navy or white.

  4. Trainers - either plain or with discreet logos (trainers must not have spikes). 

  5. Plain navy/black drawstring PE bag
Optional:  

  1. PE Navy tracksuit bottoms – cannot have any logos, stripes, or pictures. 

  2. Plain grey sweatshirt
  3. White base layer
  4. Navy sports leggings worn under shorts

  5. Football boots, shin pads, gum shield.

Equipment 

All students are expected to have the following equipment with them every day. If they are missing something, they can purchase it from the school shop which is open before school and at break or lunch. 
  • Scientific calculator
  • 2 black pens
  • 2 green pens
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Rubber
  • Highlighter
  • Water bottle
  • Black/navy hairband if needed
  • Clear pencil case for Y11/Y13 exams
